Trip would be on a Thursday or Friday in the hours between 11-4pm. Tickets are $15 for adults (18-64) and $12 for older adults (65+). Must book tickets in advance.

Centro's Public Hearing
Your Voice Matters: Upcoming Centro Public Hearing
At the end of October, Centro will host a public hearing at the Cortland County Office Building. The date and time will be announced soon.
A public hearing is an opportunity for community members to speak directly with Centro leadership and share their thoughts about local bus service. This is your opportunity to share your feedback, experiences, opinions, questions, and ideas about Centro and how the system serves our community.
Whether you regularly ride the bus, are new to public transportation, or have thoughts about how service could better meet the needs of Cortland County residents, your perspective matters. Come share what is working, what could be improved, and what you would like to see moving forward.

Mobility Meet Ups
Mobility Meet Ups are small, casual group sessions designed to make transportation in Cortland County easier to understand, access, and use. These interactive meet ups bring people together to learn about local transportation options—from public transit routes to specialized services—and how to navigate them confidently in everyday life.
Each session is tailored to the group and location, allowing for personalized guidance based on real needs. Whether it’s helping employees learn how to get to work reliably, supporting residents in accessing healthcare and essential services, or introducing older adults to transportation options that promote independence, Mobility Meet Ups meet people where they are. Participants not only learn about available services, but also get connected to valuable community resources offered by local organizations.
A key focus of the program is transportation education. Breaking down barriers by simplifying information, answering questions, and even assisting with next steps like completing applications for services such as paratransit. By improving access to transportation knowledge, Mobility Meet Ups help individuals stay active, connected, and engaged in their community.
Mobility Meet Ups are ideal for businesses, residential communities, community organizations, and any group interested in improving access to transportation for their members or clients. On The Move Sessions
On the Move Sessions are group travel training experiences designed to help you feel confident navigating Cortland County by public transportation. These sessions guide participants through all aspects of riding public transit — from planning your trip and reading the route map, to boarding, paying your fare, transferring buses, and communicating with the driver. Safety and pedestrian awareness are also key parts of the training.
During an 'On the Move Session', Mobility Management staff travel alongside the group to a specific destination, such as Hollenbeck’s on Route 11, offering guidance and answering questions along the way. This real-world practice gives riders the confidence to explore their community, access essential services, and travel independently.
These sessions are prescheduled during the warmer months of the year and are a great way to keep moving, making them especially beneficial for older adults looking to stay active while gaining confidence traveling in their community. Open to all ages, 'On the Move Sessions' are a welcoming way to learn the ins and outs of public transportation, while gaining the skills to go where you want, when you want.

April 18th-19th, 2026
Way2Go Cortland teamed up with Centro to provide the first ever two-way Shuttle Bus to the CNY Maple festival in Marathon, NY - with great success. Over 270 one-way trips were logged. You won't want to miss this event in years to come.
